Year 12

Y12 careers conference

Aimed at 16 - 17 year olds, our Year 12 Career Conferences allow students to find out about the variety of careers in the UK space sector and related industries. Graduate trainees, post graduate students, and apprentices are regularly involved, giving students a chance to talk to people at an early stage in their careers about their career choices and working environments.

The day is made up of talks, activities and presentations.

During our 'meet the scientist' exhibition students can talk to the day's speakers, ask questions and learn more about their specific sectors.

For 2019 were adding science busking from Space Intepreters at the National Space Centre, as well as a careers workshop with General Manager Dr Kierann Shah.
Our year 12 careers conferences are free thanks to funding from the UK Space Agency.
